The VCW1000 is an STS-compliant volumetric prepaid water meter engineered for housing societies, apartment buildings, and commercial properties across Pakistan. It combines accurate Class B volumetric water measurement with an integrated motorized shut-off valve. Water credit is issued as an encrypted 20-digit STS token generated by supporting utility management software. The user enters the 20-digit code directly into the meter's integrated 12-key numeric keypad to credit volume. When the credit balance reaches zero, the internal valve closes automatically, preventing utility debt.

Recharge Architecture
Water credit is managed through the international STS Standard (IEC 62055-41). Please note that purchasing an STS token remotely or at an estate management desk generates a 20-digit numeric token, but does not transfer credit to the meter over the air: the customer manually enters the 20-digit code into the meter's integrated keypad to unlock and credit water volume.
